Cash withdrawals at a geldmaat ATM
You can make a cash withdrawal at every geldmaat ATM using your Maestro or Visa debit card and/or your MasterCard or Visa credit card. You can withdraw as much money as your card limit permits and your bank allows you to. The exchange rate you pay is set by your bank and so is the fee you may have to pay for international cash withdrawals.

Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)
When you are abroad, credit cards and ATMs charge a handling fee for most transactions. DCC is a currency conversion fee. DCC is also referred to as cardholder preferred currency (CPC). If you make a cash withdrawal from a Geldmaat cash machine with a foreign card the machine identifies your credit or debit card as a foreign one. You will then be offered the choice to make the withdrawal in your own currency.
Surcharge
If you make a cash withdrawal from a Geldmaat cash machine with a foreign card outside the European Economic Area (EEA*) and you didn’t choose the option DCC, a surcharge will be charged to your bankaccount of € 4,00 per transaction. This charge is in addition to any fees that may be assessed by your card-issuing financial institution. This additional charge will be added to the transaction amount and posted to your account.
